New System Bins™ Organize Work Environments with a Single, Six-Bin Unit

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 15, 2006, Akron, Ohio— Akro-Mils introduces the new System Bin™, a convenient and efficient organization system molded as a single, six-bin unit combination. Available in 12" or 18" depths to fit standard shelving, the unique System Bins shorten assembly and installation times, and improve the efficiency of order picking and inventory management operations.

System Bins feature six, generous capacity bins molded in single units 33" wide x 5" high. Wide hopper fronts allow easy access for quick parts picking, as well as provide a large label area for easy identification of contents. When empty, System Bins nest for compact, efficient storage. Using System Bins minimizes parts handling and improves picking speeds for increased productivity in a wide range of distribution and work-in-process applications.

System Bins are available in packages combined with Akro-Mils’ metal racks, carts, and shelves to easily create custom storage solutions for any application. The modular units are ideal for industrial assembly workstations or picking operations, stockrooms, retail and merchandising displays, fastener manufacturing and distribution, general manufacturing, electronics assembly, and retail distribution applications. Racking and cabinet options for the System Bin include: Single and Double-Sided Pick Racks; Bench Pick Racks; Pick Rack Cabinets; Shelving in 12" and 18" depths; and the Multi-Shelf Cart for portable storage of parts and supplies. All metal units are power-coated steel.

System Bins are injection-molded with double wall construction for durability and strength. They are a cost efficient alternative to flimsy, individual cardboard boxes and offer excellent product protection and organization in facilities large and small.
