Doug Trasatt Named Akro-Mils Director of Sales and Marketing
January 2013, Akron, Ohio — Akro-Mils, a North American leader in storage, organization and transport products, announces that Doug Trasatt has been named Director of Sales and Marketing.
In his new position, Doug Trasatt oversees all sales, marketing and communications initiatives for Akro-Mils, which is based in Akron, Ohio and designs and manufactures a wide range of plastic storage bins and containers, metal shelving and rack systems, and mobile material handling systems sold through industrial, healthcare, retail and commercial distributors.
Prior to joining Akro-Mils, Doug Trasatt was Sales and Marketing Manager for Katy Industries, Inc. in Bridgeton, Mo., a manufacturer and distributor of commercial cleaning products sold primarily to janitorial/sanitary and food service distributors. At Katy Industries, he was responsible for industrial and OEM channel sales and marketing in the United States and Canada. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois.
Doug Trasatt and his family will be relocating from O’Fallon, Mo., to the Akron area.
